TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR HEATING AND PLUMBING SERVICES

- Definitions
“Company” refers to Chris Hayman Heating and Plumbing
“You” of “Your” refers to the customer
“Services” refers to all heating and plumbing services provided by the Company
“Quotation” means the written estimate provided to you detailing the costs of Services
“Job” refers to the specific work agreed upon as per the Quotation
- Estimates and Quotes
All estimates are based on initial discussion. The final price will be confirmed in a written Quotation
Any changes in scope or unforeseen circumstances may result in a revised Quotation, which you have the right to accept or decline
- Customer Obligations
You must provide accurate information regarding your requirements
You must ensure access to your premises for our engineers at agreed times
You are responsible for any necessary permits or permissions required for the work
- Payment Terms
Full payment is due upon completion of the Job unless otherwise agreed
Late payments may incur interest at a rate of 4% above the Bank of England base rate
- Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your order within 14 days of accepting our Quotation without penalty, provided no work has commenced
If cancellation occurs after work has started, you will be liable for costs incurred up to that point
- Guarantees and Warranties
We provide a guarantee on workmanship for a period of 12 months from completion, covering defects due to faulty workmanship only
This guarantee does not cover issues arising from misuse or alterations made by others
Warranties are provided by manufacturers on certain products to which You will be supplied at the time of completion of Works
- Liability
The Company is not liable for any indirect losses or damages arising from our services
Our liability is limited to rectifying any defects in our own work as covered under our guarantee
- Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes or government actions
- Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts
